In fact, it was a 10 part 'Story of O' mini-series, made direct-to-video in Brazil, 1994.
Competent actors, excelent locations and wardrobe, but with the same production team which made the crappy 1975 movie. Again, they failed to coordinate and direct acting, seriously compromising actors' performances.
The Story of O, never was and never will be a "porno-chic", term coined in the 70's for pretentiously intelectual movies with sexual content. It is the best BDSM novel ever made, and still awaits it's comparable hardcore porn version in video.
This series also shipwrecked Claudia Cepeda's career, the gorgeous actress, the main-character of O. Her sweet face was never seen since in Brazilian TV.
